Does the quotation refer to paratroopers coming to England for operation Sea lion, that was scheduled for sometime in the summer/fall of 1940? If so, then herr Schmidt is seeing into the future regarding Crete which was in the summer of 1941. If the quote refers to an invasion of England after Crete I doubt there would actually have been any paratroopers involved. Nevertheless these look like very nice figures. I need some early war Fallschirmjager, these might be the ones. |

Well, it's a "what-if" scenario. When I wrote it I was actually thinking of… In 1943 sixteen German paratroopers landed in England. In three days they nearly won the War. |

I think you may be overthinking this. It really is just a little color text based loosely on a fictional story. But now I do want to watch 'The Eagle Has Landed' again. |
