The Wargaming Campaigns book sounds interesting.

Even if you never use anything in the book, Henry is an excellent writer and the book, almost certainly, will be a great read.

Full agreement. An interesting and entertaining writer, this will probably replace Tony Baths work to become my campaign standard.

Don't think Henry's book is due for publication until the end of the year though.

How is the coverage of naval campaigns in Hyde's book? That was always one of my disappointments with Bath.

Henry said on his podcast that the book wasn't due to be published until Christmas. It's currently being proof read and he hasn't started on the layout yet. When that's done it needs to be printed in India and then shipped to the UK by boat. The chances of anyone having it in stock yet are zero.

@Gnu200 & @Northern Monkey are right. The book has just been sent to the publisher and beta readers for editorial feedback and initial proofreading. I've just started working on the layout. Publication before around October/November is extremely unlikely, though of course I'll keep you posted.

@BrianW I've written a whole chapter about naval stuff and the campaign rules in the book incorporate naval aspects. If you thought The Wargaming Compendium was comprehensive, then you'll be pleased to hear that the new book also covers as many aspects as I could think of and is likely to weigh in at the same, enormous 520 pages as the former.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys, it means a lot.

Henry,

Excellent! I will be picking this up when it comes out.
