Good to see that Battle Honours will remain available under whatever name. I will bookmark your site and look forward to its update. Regards |

Does this mean that OldGlory15 or 19th Century miniatures no longer sells Battle Honors figures? I was just about to place an order with them. |

Ditto-? That concerned me too; just went to 19th's website-nothing mentioned on there (at this point). |

Just checked and Ebor is out of England, so maybe that is the key. When I spoke to 19th a week and a half ago, they didn't indicate anything was happening with Battle Honors figures, but then I didn't ask specifically either. |

Whooohooo!!! Battle Honours in Europe!! That is excellent news! Agree on their WW2 ranges, my favorites are the early soviets, the Finns and the Waffen SS |

Great news for us in Australia as well. Postage costs from the US made this range difficult to buy as the rate basically doubled or exceeded the actual cost of the figures. My favourite figures are the Finns, Afrika Korps, Eighth Army and Australian figures. They are superb. |

Well, I better stock up on the projects I was going to work on now. If this line goes to the UK it's going to suck for us to pay the exchange and shipping. I miss the days when 19th Century minis was at the HMGS east cons and they had a buy 4 bags get the 5th free deals. I spent many an hour poring over their WWII range at those cons. One of my all time favorite ranges of minis. You can't beat their French and early war Heer and SS. Sad news for me, good news for you guys across the pond. Does this mean that the range might be added to under different ownership? I know the original sculptor for the French and early war Heer and SS (as well as a few of the other forces) sculpts 40mm for MSC minis now. Still, glad to hear the range will live on at least. Better start putting my order together now… |

I assume this is why Timecast stopped stocking Battle Honours, see TMP link |

Never heard of Ebor miniatures before, but with their existing ranges not being in my area of interest I can see why. Now they have Kitney ACW I will be keeping an eye on their website with a view to buy in the future. |

I'm glad to hear that Battle Honours will eventually be available in the UK again. What's the reason for the name change? I would have thought from a marketing point of view keeping a recognisable brand name would be a good idea. And 'Battle Honours' has got a bit more of a ring to it than 'Kitney'. |

hope to see the 15mm Napoleonic back in production |
Joes Shop | 23 Oct 2014 2:27 a.m. PST |
This is confusing so I just sent an email to 19th Century Min. asking for clarification. If the line is moving I will have to get my order together too. |

Ebor is a top flight outfit. I am very happy that these figures are being handled by them. |

Kitney and Company were the people who originally bought Battle Honours and traded under that name. Mike |

Just received a response from Steve at 19th Century/Old Glory 15's. Bottom line: the ranges will continue to be cast/sold in the US. Ebor owns the rights in the UK; 19th in the US. |

so customers from each side of the ocean will be happy … :o) |

I would like to make the following proposal. 19th Century Miniatures re-name these figures "Battle Honors" while Ebor stick to the British spelling of "Battle Honours" and forget the confusing "Kitney" label. Now doesn't that make just perfect sense, everyone?! Or, does that throw a spanner (oops, I mean 'wrench') into the works? |
Pizzagrenadier | 23 Oct 2014 7:17 p.m. PST |
It's a bit of a grey area ;) |

So that means Battle Honours 15 mm sculpted by AB – the Napoleonic, French Revolution and ACW range?? In case – is there also a plan to make new moulds for those figures? |
