I've seen the Palio twice, once in 1989 and again in 1994. Had a great time. The whole concept brings back some great memories. I loved all the pomp prior to the race with factions wearing medieval armor and garb. I was even invited to a private museum for one fo the factions. Great idea hope it catches on. Duane |

I forgot to add that my oldest daughter Siena is named after the town, my youngest after another well known town, Ravenna. LOL Duane |

The figures look like a nice addition to the game and I think I see myself in the crowd. lol Ferarra is beautiful as well. Is there a restraunt in Ferrara called the Four Cats or something like that? Duane |

The official game, by the game designer Massimo Pesce, is authorized by the CTPS, Consorzio Tutela Palio Storico, and is Palio, now at 2nd ed.
