The new rules could be interesting, and I'm definitely interested in new Celtos models. |

I hope this does well for them. Always liked the Celtos minis. |

I have some Celtos forces ready to go! |

Always liked the idea behind Celtos. What put me right off, though, was the rulebook. Wall-of-text layout, in complex swirly typeface, against coloured page backgrounds? That rulebook was just an A4 migraine. I went with AA's "Erin" instead. |

Wall-of-text layout, in complex swirly typeface, against coloured page backgrounds? Indeed it was terrible to try and read – the second printing had a much more legible font. We're working from the ground up with a completely new rulebook, so rest assured that this will be much more readable (one of the guys working on it is an editor by trade so he won't let anything like the old one past him). |

Had the minis not been sculpted like cartoon characters I would have bought a truckload. |

More for me. I'm looking forward to new sculpts and the rulebook. I'm planning on stocking up on some to put on square bases for Reaper's Warlord, and some on round bases for Celtos and other games. All good. |

I think going for a large army game is the wrong direction. Skirmish gaming is where it's at these days. The notion that people are going to buy 100+ figures for a new Fantasy game is far-fetched in my opionion. I tried to get into this game when the Gael book came out and no other army books ever followed. Love the minis and bg however. |

Axabrax it can be a skirmish game. Just use two 10 man units per side.

Yeah, FWIW, I became more interested as soon as I realized that a new edition with unit based combat meant the original was a skirmish system. That interests me more. Judging by the blog, it won't require different basing. I'd say the best thing to do is keep both available, even if one is only digital, and give new miniatures stats for each version of the game. Or, I could be wrong. |

Pictures of your games look great, I like the look of the round regimental bases. Keep us informed when a beta version is ready and put it up for download. If you need army pictures let me know (I still have the FB Army featured in the Gael book). |

I'd say the best thing to do is keep both available, even if one is only digital, and give new miniatures stats for each version of the game. Or, I could be wrong. That's the idea, the older version of rules won't be going away, and any new figures will get stats for both incarnations of the rules. There are still quite a few copies of the rulebook remaining, and when they run out we'll go to PDF. |
