It does have some nice faces. From the angle it looks like the guy without the beret on has his hand in front of his face like he just burped or is shocked at the size of the shell they will be sending to interrupt Jerries tea time.

That hand belongs to the figure in front of him. "No-beret" is cradling the shell with both hands.

Yeah, in the original picture you can still see no-beret guys hand. It is just that the angle the picture was taken from makes you do a double take.

Yeah… at first I thought no-beret was licking beret-guy's fingers. I was going to Google it to see if it was some sort of ritual or such, but I thought better of it.
