Before you click, note these are items for sale, not free downloads. They dont cost very much, but they do have a cost. |

Not convinced by the Games Workshop model of paid for individual downloadable guides/ articles. Providing them free would be a good way of attracting visits to the website, stimulating interest, and as a means of making entry into the hobby more accessible for beginners who are then going to spend a fair amount in the future on products. Alternativley I'd probably pay for a well- printed physical book to save me having to pay individually and faff about printing them out myself (single sided) then sticking them in a folder etc, but personally I can't see myself buying these. Perhaps there's a market for a generation who only want to view them on tablets etc, and not print them- all my painting guides collected, developed and refined over the years are written in biro in an old school exercise book (or was that Old Skool?!!) |

Dan, Second your opinions. Maybe enough people will buy them that as a business strategy it will work. I won't. Joe |

Errata to your announcement. G.I does not stand for General Infantryman. It does stand for General Issue. |

Their products are already overpriced, and now a charge for a painting guide…give me a break! There are enough "free" sources out there…like Artizan's and others. I think their marketing strategists should have offered these as a free download…like otheres, not impressed nor will purchase. P. |

Government Issue? Come on Warlord, at least spell Pearl Harbor correctly! |
