"Novus Design Release 6mm Rivers" Topic

Good news.

Fine but would have been better in grey blue.

I'll be ordering some to go with the ones I have. Even if the colors don't match perfectly it's fine for me.

The coloring of all three categories of rivers we sell (6mm-15mm-28mm) use the same pigments/paints. The 15mm and 28mm rivers get a little white added to them at the end of the process to simulate water movement. That gives a slightly lighter blue hue in the center of the casting. The 6mm rivers are too small to properly represent water movement so no white is added.

I have a real one in front of the house, never blue, mostly grey or grey brown, or of course reflexion of trees. I saw the Danube and as Richard sung, he was blue.

I have spent lots of time crossing rivers and streams, almost none and blue, usually brown or greenish. That being said we always refer to rivers and creeks on a map as a "blue line", and my rivers on the table are from Novus – so blue.

They look great on my table and Novus does a great job. Both the products and service.

I have considered perhaps a little stain or light coat of something to muddy them a bit. But compared to other priorities- I like the blue.

What are the approximate dimensions for the 6mm version? How long is a section? How wide?
