Corrected link for the Spanish galleons is link

Will you be doing Chinese ships in 1/600 to match the sample flag?

China started using standardized design ensigns (both merchant and naval) quite later to the intended period --around 1880s, after the international pressure.

True that 18 century naval flags plates use to show one or two allegedly Chinese ensigns, but such designs are quite unlikely --either the product of an effervescent imagination, or a pitiful interpretation of a plainly unknown iconography.

I could give a try to it, though. As a matter of fact, I've spent part of my evening at doing so from the basis of the so common Bagua, or Pa Kua, symbol also used by Korea since 12th or 13th century.

However, I suspect that such a flags set would be quite less popular among naval wargamers than, let's say, Henry Morgan's white squadron set of flags grin

I did wonder if you chose the Qing flag just as an example of how the different pennants etc. would look, rather than intending to do the whole region.

I was just hoping you were going to do the actual ships in resin, like with your Spanish galleons. I'd certainly be tempted by a few, though the Ming and earlier would be my main interest.

Yes it was so grin

Well, what I have currently in mind is quite closely related to Mediterranean warfare: galleys of several sizes, xebecs (either 'pure' Latin-rigged or 'hybrid' ones) and square rigged men-of-war (this is what my wishlist comprises right today). However, once the range is launched it's users' wishes that shall rule.
