I don't envy your guys in the least. Competing against Dreadzone and Spartan's new product. Good luck! I will say I would have lead with this set and expanded to the gothic mid campaign to pull the 40k guys in for a big boost. |

I think that this has broader appeal than your other design and should be a choice for the KS rather than a stretch goal. |

Doesn't do anything for me. How about just the cargo container surface on both sides as a starter and the rest as stretch goals? |

From the kickstarter page, the container and attendant bits already have molds. They are seeking production and expansion in new kits like this one. I like them, and they would be a good match for the piles of necromundia stuff I have. I like the looks of this new piece more and hope there is more to come! |

A simple historic adobe in plastic could sell well? |

@CorSecEng, I do feel you :) but our stuff is a bit different. Our system is very modular and roboust, we have other accesories coming soon. Our system allows you to have several options in one. Such as buildings that can go 20 or more story high and opend in the back (You will be actualy able to position your miniatures inside it and have space for your hands to move them inside the building, also higher modules are raedy and waiting)Dungeons, not only simple dungeons, we will show soon how you can make usable 3 or 4 story high usable dungeon modules. @Caesar & Broadsword, we had the first mold done olmost 2 moths ago, too late. @Cadian 7th wait to see the 5 story building opened on both side with accesories. You may like the idea. In case I didn't say so these are built to be durable and flexible, durability was our first goal. We all play in clubs and got tired of glued togheter sceneries, or thin structures breaking all the time, or small parts breaking and getting lost while in storage. This is why we have almost no small parts, and all connectors are atatched to the main parts. To prove how strong they are I steped on them the other day
I am close to 200lbs and 6.2" see the picture below. We could have gone with a lot cheaper solution using thin walls, and sell the product for almost half the price, but we had durability, modularity and ease of use in mind.
Or on the KS under updates. |

Because there's quite a bit of new plastic terrain, I wasn't really impressed until I saw that last photo. The pieces are beautifully done--and if that strong, simply amazing. This looks like a quality product. |

@FingerandToeGlenn We started this project with two main goals. Durable and strong modular scenery. Both of us (the founders of Maki) have run gaming clubs for several years. And we noticed that the main problems with scenery where: 1) Durability 2) Storage space So we wanted something extra strong, with no or almost no small parts to be lost and a very strong structure. (Guess we got that.. :)
) And modular that could be readopted for various game systems. Our main problem at home or at the club was space. We had boxes and boxes of buildings, then boxes of dungeons and so on. With this system you don't need glue (only a few pieces like ladders will need it) so once you are done playing you can disassemble your buildings with ease and no risk to loose any part for storage, and next day assemble a spaceship interior for a new different game. A very big advantage especially if you use them at home and like me the wife hates small toys and the space they take
