Nick Meredith (nickm@discover.co.uk) writes:

A few weeks ago the question was raised of what had happened to the old QT models 25mm figures and moulds now that QT/Museum had moved to 15mm only.

I was speaking to QT/Museum today (ordering some more Mohguls) and asked the question. Apparently the moulds and rights were sold to a firm called Sabre Miniatures, who were seen at a few shows producing the old QT range, together with their own science fiction or fantasy figures. Sabre have now vanished & the old phone number doesn't get through to the proprietor any more. An educated guess was made that the work involved was found to be too much for the returns.

So, for the moment at least it looks as if the old QT 25mm range has vanished completely.

Update!

As of 1998, it appears that Sabre Miniatures is back in business. Readers report that a catalog is available, and that they have received orders.
