A mix of Lanchesters, Rolls-Royces, Fords, and Pierce-Arrows, the armored cars were everywhere during the battle, surging ahead as Russian infantry stormed the German and Austro-Hungarian trenches, shooting it out in Kozowa as a burning ammunition dump threatened to explode, and escorting British ambulances during a massive Russian retreat.
