Wargame Vault announces the availability of:

Starship Arena

Starship Arena

Publisher: Lunchroom Games

In the year 2334 A.D., technological advances have allowed humans to develop ships that can sustain life for generations as they explore the far-reaching expanses of space. You and the rest of the 328 people on board were not one of the luckier groups; you have been captured by a winged race of humanoids called the Pennate.

The Pennate are part of a larger conglomeration of alien races that reside in this system of space. The prime source of entertainment here is enslaving weaker races and forcing them to fight each other in arenas. They have no interest in watching a hand-to-hand battle, however. They prefer the sight of one-manned ships maneuvering around the shielded arenas, exchanging fire. While they sit safe in their seats, they take great pleasure in seeing a ship's structure slowly weakened to the point of explosion.

The races that enslave the participants encourage them to customize the ships they use in the battles. This makes the fighting more enthralling for the spectators, and has made the enslaved more hopeful that they will stand a better chance of surviving each encounter.

With a quality design and sharp wits, you might get the chance to live another day. Every battle won could get you closer to a chance to escape and warn the rest of human civilization.

In order to play, you will need a play mat with a one-inch-square grid, a token to represent each player's ship, and at least one six-sided die. It is suggested for at least three players.

Price – $0.50 USD
