All pre-orders were sent off last week, and have already begun to arrive for some of you too.
OBG: The Sudan is our 18th period-specific rulebook, and this one is another bumper of a book, at 76 pages, and yet again, the price remains the same great value, so still just £12.95 GBP!
As with all On Bloody Ground titles, this book uses the same mechanics that are the solid core of our rules, and includes the period-specific army lists and keywords for that period flavor. New keywords added to this title are LOOTERS and SQUARE FORMATION, and we will be talking about the new rules with a flip-through video on YouTube uploaded this week.
As you may have also already seen, we have decided to add in three linked scenarios that start players on a short journey of discovery with a small battle of 1,000 points a side, then 1,500 points, and then a full, standard-sized battle at 2,000 points. Each scenario introduces different aspects of army building, tactics, and using the rules, of course!
Also included in this book is an optional add-on to your games of OBG in the form of commanders' traits. Commanders' traits are generated randomly, and give one of your current commanders either a Cowardly, Timid, Reckless, Disciplined, Strategic or Adaptive personality, which come with a variety of related, erm, bonuses!
