Romans

This album contains characters for making game soldiers of the Roman Legion of the Punic Wars. Characters are grouped 3-2-1 on 25mm to 50mm round tokens. This system suits many Skirmish-style games where a unit suffers losses and the player removes figures as the battle progresses. With 3-2-1 figure tokens, you can represent the desired number of warriors in a unit, while at the same time making it much easier to move the unit around the table than with six to twelve individual bases.

The author assumes that you already love this era and have a good understanding of the weapons and tactics of the legion. The author wanted first of all to convey the spirit of the era and make excellent game soldiers. That's why they are a bit pompous, cinematic and stereotypical. Don't be too strict about the historicity of tabletop game reconstructions.
