Ben Lacy of Britton Publishers writes:

The Battle of Aachen took place between 2 October and 21 October, 1944, and was the first city on German soil to be captured by the Allies.

Aachen was one of the largest urban battles of the entire war, and it completely destroyed the city.

Aachen: Gateway to the Ruhr

This book contains 25 squad-to-company-level historical scenarios.

While not conjoined in campaign fashion, these stand-alone scenarios allow players to understand a human tragedy that has come to shape our modern landscape.

Realistic small-unit tactics should result in accurate military outcomes. However, certain liberties regarding force ratios are taken for the sake of playability.

These scenarios are not written with any particular rules in mind, and should work with most squad-to-company-level sets.

Visit us on the web and peruse the entire line-up of rules and scenario books.
