The rumors are true, new game company about to launch!

August 30, 2001 – After months of Internet buzz, it’s official, ZN Games is set to launch! With new ideas and fresh products, ZN Games has set a lofty goal of fulfilling the need for change in the roleplaying and miniatures games market.

ZN Games, founded by industry veterans Chris Bledsoe and Stacy Rieckermann, is a new and exciting Entertainment Company located in the Philadelphia area. Chris, the former Creative Director of Heartbreaker Hobbies (Warzone) and President of Ral Partha Enterprises, will take on all creative responsibilities, while Stacy, the former Sales Manager of FASA (Battletech, Shadowrun), will oversee all administrative duties.

The exciting line-up, beginning in the first quarter of 2002 features:

Industrial Gothic: War of the Dark Arcs

A miniatures game of epic proportions, with steam powered bite. In the world of Tearlon, during the AGE OF CONFLICT, huge juggernauts are created, that are known as Arcs. These powerful machines are walking fortresses that bellow smoke and bristle with magical and traditional weapons. The entire world is thrown into a battle involving these arcs, as well as dragons, Golem, and Giants. Steam, firepower, and magic clash in this conflict that transcends all bounds. Simple to learn rules, beautifully designed miniatures, and a grim world are the backbone to this new game system. INDUSTRIAL GOTHIC will be available as a soft cover book, complete with rules, background material, and lavishly illustrated throughout. The book will be complimented with a complete range of metal miniatures. Support products will come in the form of additional books and a monthly release of miniatures.

Stacy Rieckermann, President of ZN Games, commented: "As someone who knows a bit about selling products that revolve around giant fighting machines, I feel this will be the most exciting miniatures based product in 2002. The scale and design of these miniatures are like nothing you've ever seen. The background is original and edgy. This is wild stuff!"

The second quarter of 2002 continues with:

UNEARTHED: Hyperborean Chronicles

The world of Tearlon, thousands of years after the last Arc has toppled, now a land of prosperity and peace. Until an ancient coffin-like box is discovered, that threatens the entire planet. This strange box unleashes demonic hoards and legions of the dead into this otherwise peaceful land. All races must band together if there is any hope to shake off the evil cloak that has been laid upon them. The elves, humans, Orcs, and goblins, together make a stand against these living nightmares.

Chris Bledsoe, founder and CEO of ZN Games, commented: "This is a roleplaying game like no other. Think Clive Barker writing Conan. Think of the possibilities! Players become fantasy heroes that must protect the world from this onslaught."

The ZN Games website is being constructed, at present. Watch for upcoming Press Releases for more information. We hope to have the site up by late September.
