We're very excited to announce that our next rulebook in the On Bloody Ground series is now up on our website for pre-order!
OBG – The Sudan is our 18th period-specific rulebook, and this one is another bumper of a book, at 76 pages, and yet again, the price remains the same great value, so still just £12.95 GBP!
The book has had a slight delay, as we decided to add in three linked scenarios that start players on a short journey of discovery, with a small battle of 1000 points a side, then 1500 points, and then a full standard-sized battle at 2000 points. Each scenario introduces different aspects of army building, tactics, and using the rules, of course!
Also included in this book is an optional add-on to your games of OBG in the form of commanders' traits. Commanders' traits are generated randomly, and give one of your current commanders either a Cowardly, Timid, Reckless, Disciplined, Strategic or Adaptive personality, which come with a variety of related, erm, bonuses!
We will be providing a free download for the Commanders' Traits rules on the website once The Sudan is in stock, so that everyone can have a read, and use them if they choose to.
New keywords included are in this release are LOOTERS and SQUARE FORMATION.

This book includes five army lists, and covers the period 1881 to 1899, and is specifically related to The Sudan, rather than the whole of the Mahdist War.
