Having both Eureka and these (actually just assembling the new sets) the quality is comparable – both are excellent and absolutely worth their money (imho) – but Eurekas are to my taste a tad too small and delicate for the "Perry standard 28mm". These are a bit on the large side, but Gensdarmes did have the biggest warhorses around, and you can field them together with Perry Gensdarmes in the same unit. I actually swapped some horses without any problems.

I'm pleased to announce the general release of the six new sets of mounted knights from the recent Kickstarter campaign.

Renaissance Knights

These knights, being slightly smaller than the samurai from my range, are in the 28mm scale.

They are priced at £16.00 GBP per set of two multi-part miniatures. They come with separate heads, plumes and weapons, plus the horses and riders are separate (unlike the samurai, which are single-piece horsemen).

Renaissance Knights

The new price of £16.00 GBP is a reduction of the old price of £20.00 GBP, which came with more heads and plumes than the riders needed, making the casting cost higher. I felt that people in general did not think the extra cost for the added variety was worth it, so now offer them with only the components needed for the set. I also was able to get the caster to economize mold space, bringing the cost down more.

There are also unit deals available on the website.

The fact these are multi-part makes a tremendous amount of variations possible.

Also released is the first pack of new Renaissance Pikemen to compliment these miniatures.
