The Dos Ranchos set is based on two real nineteenth century houses in Lincoln, NM. There are a couple more adbobe/plaster houses in the pipeline.

And thanks for the kind words about Pharoah and Tzak-Nal.

Finger and Toe Models announces the dual release of two 28mm cardstock PDF sets in a new series, Lincoln, NM: The Watchtower and Dos Ranchos. In the Old West, cattle were the primary industry and the real measure of a man's worth. That was certainly true in the Lincoln County War, a range war so violent that the U.S. Army was summoned to put it to an end. Nestled in a narrow mountain valley of southern New Mexico, Lincoln was the home turf of William H. Bonney, AKA Billy the Kid.

Each building in the series is based on a real building in Lincoln. The initial releases represent one of the oldest buildings in town, the old watchtower at the east end of town, built to protect the original Mexican inhabitants from marauding bands of Indians. The second model set in this initial release includes two small homes along the single street that was Lincoln.

The watchtower has stackable levels, so you can place figures inside, while the ranchos are shells that slip over burned-out ruins (did I mention the Lincoln County War was a violent affair?).

Since these buildings are still standing, they just might be your best hope against the zombie apocalypse.

Remember, every Finger and Toe model comes with smoosh assurance: if ya'll smoosh any part of your Lincoln, NM, set, a new one waits your summons from hard drive and printer.

Both The Watchtower and Dos Ranchos are available from rpgnow.com or wargamevault.com for $2.50 USD each.
