Ultimate N Scale has been purchased by Dave Dougherty of Akron, OH, and will have N gauge accessories available Jan.1, 2003. Dave has sold resin cast ships for 30 years under the name Panzerschiffe. These models can be seen on the web at: Panzerschiffe.com.
Ultimate N Scale offers kits of all kinds of TOFC equipment, trailers, tractors, trucks, decks, flatcars, plus other N scale items used from the thirties through the eighties, but concentrating on the forties to the seventies. The initial release will be 78 different trailers from 20 to 40 feet and TOFC decks. Soon to be added are tractors, trucks, busses, loads, and conversion parts. These items will allow the modeler to run TOFC trains with each trailer being different and with different decks appropriate for many railroads. UNC also plans to offer finished trailers with decals for many trucking firms and roads.
