Welcome to a slimy month at Alternative Armies!
Following on from the public vote-winner of free EH03 Space Brains last month, we have a requested treat for those who like fantasy, monsters and even DungeonCrawling or Post-Apocalyptic gaming. All this month, the new resin version of the classic any-scale Giant Slug is free in orders. You need do nothing but place an order which requires to be shipped anywhere in the world (no Digital Download-orders only, sorry!) of any size, and we will automatically include FM23R Giant Slug in resin. As many orders as you want, and ends 1st March 2023.

Stan Pochron's 1980s monster from the Asgard Fantasy range was returned to the world last year, and it's a weighty beast indeed. We have faithfully converted the model to resin, where it retains all of its 'charm' and detail, but now is a tiny fraction of its metal weight. This allows us to offer it at half the regular price, and to make it free this month too. FM23 Giant Slug is the original, and FM23R Giant Slug is the resin version.

Here you can see the Giant Slug facing off against Alternia Beach Huntress as well as a Jez Goodwin 28mm barbarian, plus several Tabletop Games 15mm fantasy adventurers. This monster works in any scale of tabletop action.
Alternative Armies February 2023
We will begin with a new release into the excellent Bradley 6mm science-fiction range, giving more infantry to this growing array of packs and singles. Remastering has been completed in the HOF 15mm science-fiction range, and this will soon present a new HOFP Value Pack with saving off automatons.
As promised, one of the finest larger metal models sculpted by Nick Bibby will return to life on the website. The D6 Dragon Lizard Juggernaut has been restored, including its often-missing separate sword.

A free, full-size solo or two-player Flintloque scenario will appear this month, featuring the Dogmen of Ostaria out in the forest, where a valuable logging camp is being raided by forces unknown!

As well as new releases, restored classics, and expanded choices, we will feature hobbyist articles which involve our games and miniatures. Look to our blog for these, such as last month's Erin by Kev Dallimore and Dwarf King in 15mm scale.
Lastly, just before the end of the month, we will place onto the website something huge, something metal, and something in a limited run, sculpted by Nick Bibby in 1982, which we will feature a lot in March, but for those keen collectors it will appear then. Oh, with free worldwide shipping and extra pieces included free, too!
