I wouldn't call a 30 year old conflict "recent". It's odd that no one ever brings up this point about WWII gaming. 30 years after WWII would be 1975 when I and my father and his friends were playing Panzer Blitz and Panzer Leader (published in 1970 and '72) and SPI titles too numerous to name. Only a few years later I'd be playing "Brew Up" with friends on the living room floor.

The argument that I often hear is that "someone who was in the conflict might walk by". What about the WWII veterans in convention halls? How is this different?

I game the '82 Lebanon conflict and certainly mean no disrespect to those who served there. Quite the contrary.

I welcome this range and I'm sure it will be excellent like the rest of Timecast's line.

After much hard work, we are pleased to announce that we will be releasing our new 1982 Falklands War range at Salute in April. Prices TBC.

15mm scale Top Malo House

The range will cover a variety of buildings and scenics in 10mm and 15mm scale, and are designed to match the planned ranges from Pendraken and QRF.

In addition to the model buildings and scale scenics, the range will also include a selection of the typical Falklands rock outcrops. These will be generic models, suitable for use with any scale figures from 6mm up to 20mm.

The models have all been designed by a Falklands veteran and are based on contemporary photographs, including some photos taken by the designer during the war.
