The third floor houses the locker room, shower, classroom, lounge, and evidence locker for the station, and is a beehive of activity during shift changes. The foot patrolman, radio car and motorcycle officers make up the bulk of the personnel who utilize this floor.

The locker room and shower area is the busiest during a shift change. Don't forget to clock-in-or-out for your shift! Washrooms are male-only (matron can use one of the public washrooms or the women's washroom on the fourth floor).

The classroom/briefing room is the first stop for all officers after changing into their uniforms to come on duty. This is where the foot patrolman learns the latest news about the Dolan Gang, the Chi Fen Tong, the Hooded Hangman, and the Delany Street Boys, as the duty sergeant and the lead detectives bring the lads up-to-date.

The lounge area, a place to unwind post-shift, is managed by the ladies' auxiliary, and is well stocked with cookies, doughnuts, coffee and other treats. The kitchen area is outfitted with the latest gadgets, too – an electric refrigerator and a state-of-the-art, six-element stove/oven combination. Perfect for Mrs. McGregor when she makes the lads chicken soup during the winter months.

The evidence locker is manned by old McGilroy, and is filled with the contents one would expect to find: guns, knives, blood-stained clothing, threatening notes, garrotes, etc. Due to the limitations on space, most of the old case files are archived here as well.
