The three first sets of our new 1:600 Age of Sail range are already available. Each consists of a DIN A7-sized paper sheet with several maritime flags and pennants, conceived for a particular ship type and nation. The first three, just launched, are devoted to Spanish and Portuguese trans-Atlantic galleons, as well as a generic French Indiaman, and will be shortly followed by other sets; our goal is to have a large collection of flags before releasing the first ship models.

1:600 Naval Flags

the largest flags have been designed in the first instance to serve as an ensign, the medium-sized flags as complementary or alternative mast flags, and the smallest as a jack if needed. They can be acquired from our website at the price of €2.00 EUR per set.

Fictional sample

Last but not least: Although conceived to complement our upcoming range of ships (scaled to 1:600, as said), I'm persuaded our flags will perfectly fit onto models from other makers – even those nominally larger, such as Peter Pig's 1:450 scale ships, as my own experience as a gamer can attest.

As already commented, there are several other flag sets on the way: those closer to a release can be checked on from this page of our blog, while much more is awaiting a chance on the Minairons' Wishlist Page.

Cheers!
