The following undated announcement has been issued by Harlequin Miniatures Ltd.:

INTRODUCING ICON MINIATURES

We've got some important news for you all. After recent top-level boardroom negotiations and other business type mumbo-jumbo, Harlequin Miniatures has been taken over by the rising star that is Icon Miniatures. As you read this, all of Harlequin's old ranges are being lovingly fondled by their new owners, who have already begun building on the sterling work work carried out by their predecessors. Icon will expand on all the old lines, including the Lord of the Rings and the Fantasy Armies collection. In addition to this we have already released some more World War Two miniatures.
