Black Army Games' New Tank: The Japanese Type 2 Ke-To

Black Army Games has a new release, hopefully with more to follow very soon!

Introducing our 28mm Japanese Type 2 Ke-To! Cast in resin and available for $25 USD from our website – blackarmygames.com.

Yes, We Are Now Black Army Games!

(Please note: that the old Black Army Productions page is no longer in service; we'd intended to redirect it to the new site, but we missed the expiration notice in March due to COVID upheaval and someone bought the domain out from under us.)

Here Is Our Ke-To:

Ke-To 1

Ke-To 2

Ke-To 3

The Type 2 was intended as a replacement for the unpopular Type 98 "Ke-Ni", and featured a rounded turret, an improved Type 1 extra long 37mm gun, and a coaxial light machinegun, which was in practice rarely mounted. The shifting priorities of war manufacturing produced only limited examples, probably around 18 vehicles. They were primarily used by The Air Landing Tank Regiment, which was detailed to deploy with them in an operation planned for Luzon which was delayed, and then cancelled by the end of the war. Some examples may have seen service against the Soviets very late in the war.

Stats for the Ke-To can be found in several major WWII miniatures games, including the popular Bolt Action.

Please come visit our site and get yours today!

Also, we are looking for additional vehicle sculptors and historical miniatures sculptors. Please contact us if interested: blackarmyproductions@gmail.com.
