I have matt varnished vehicles by accident. The windscreens went opaque. I'd imagine the same with the bases.

Bases

Cross-shaped clear bases – these are 25mm round bases, as an experiment we cut them down to a cross shape to see how they would work.

Bases

We were surprised that figure stability increased, as the cross shape could sit between small rocks and other terrain detail, instead of sitting on top at an angle, and that figures could be placed easier in and around terrain, and that figures could be placed a lot closer together than the 'open order' or round or square bases.

Bases

We've made them available for anyone who would like to try them out in our clear base shop.
