After a project lasting over three years, the first CD from the archive is now ready. It contains issues one to 50 of Hobilar, the journal of the Lance & Longbow Society.

Hobilar CD

First published in August 1991, Hobilar features articles on medieval warfare from the early 11th Century to the early 16th Century, as well as many flags and banners of the period.

To preserve the wealth of information and detail presented in Hobilar over the years, the issues have been scanned, lovingly restored, and converted to PDF format.

  • 50, A5 issues as PDFs
  • Ideal for eBook readers
  • Over 2,500 pages of articles
  • 100 full-color pages
  • Indexed by issue, period and flags
  • Free sample issue
  • Cost £12.00 GBP (E.U.) and £10.00 GBP (World), plus shipping
  • Publication date: May 2012

The CD is available to everyone, not just members of the Lance & Longbow Society, through Vexillia Limited. Lance & Longbow Society members will receive a discount, but they must order via the Society webshop.
