FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Games Workshop Announces Price Drop on Starter Rulebooks

Warhammer 40,000 rulebook

We are pleased to announce that Games Workshop USA is lowering the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price on the Starter Rulebooks for both the Warhammer Fantasy Battles and Warhammer 40,000 tabletop battle games. Effective May 13, 2002, the retail price will drop from $44.99 USD to $30.00 USD.

We feel that this new pricing initiative better reflects the placement of these rulebooks within our product range. We are in a position to make this change; now is the right time and $30 USD is the right price.

This new retail price will have the added benefit of making Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000, already the best and most popular Fantasy and Science Fiction tabletop battlegames on the market, more accessible to newcomers to the hobby as well as new gamers in general.

Thanks to all of our fans whose dedication and enthusiasm are the keys to our success!
