Ostfront

All of WWII in One Game

A company-scale WWII wargame aimed at 6mm to 15mm miniatures, with a focus on easy play, fog of war, and historical accuracy.

Ostfront 2nd edition is the result of two years of research and playtesting, bringing in real armor and weapon penetration data, and crunching it down to an easy 2D6 system.

This game draws from first-hand accounts, military psychology studies, and real world data to get to the bottom of "what it was like" to command forces in WWII.

Ostfront is medium complexity – plenty of crunch to keep the rivet-counter ww2 wargamers happy, but weighing in at only 40 pages of rules, followed by 210 pages of army lists, of which you may only need four pages to play a specific period.

Rules are provided for Infantry, Commanders, Light Vehicles, Armor, Artillery, Field Guns, Mortars, Rocket Barrages, Armored Trains, Cavalry, Minefields, Defensive Battles, Delaying actions, Flamethrowers, Aero-Sleds, Amphibious Landings, Hidden Deployment, Bunkers, Trenches, Barbed Wire, and more…

Printable top-down miniatures are provided as a free resource alongside these rules, covering Wehrmacht, Soviet, U.S., Japanese and British forces.
