Warhammer Skirmish is a jumpstart into a world of fast, fun and furious gaming action set in the incredible world of Warhammer Fantasy Battles!
Warhammer is the game of Fantasy Tabletop battle games. Columns of troops, thunderous cavalry charges, arcs of lightning leaping from Wizard’s outstretched hands, looming monstrous creatures and heroic characters brandishing magic swords are what Warhammer is all about.

Warhammer Skirmish Promotion and Booklet
Warhammer Skirmish is a brand new promotion set in the world of Warhammer. Kicking off the promotion is the release of a 48-page, full-color Warhammer Skirmish booklet! Filled with 25 story-driven, evocative scenarios, along with tons of modeling and terrain tips, the Skirmish booklet will appeal to both long-time Warhammer veterans as well as new players who have yet to discover just how much fun Warhammer can be!
Over 250 Independent Retailers and all Games Workshop shops will be carry a special Merchandising Display rack featuring the Warhammer Skirmish booklet, the essential Warhammer rulebook, and a great selection of scenery and Warhammer product tailored specifically to playing small-scale Skirmishes.
Our valiant band of Bretonnians have made it half way across the bridge in their bid to safely escort the Lady Genevieve to the castle. The brave Knight has lost his horse, but continues to fight on with the help of his loyal retainers. The foul Trolls infesting the bridge are hungry though and eager to fight to the death!
This is just one of the many scenarios you’ll be seeing as part of Warhammer Skirmish. It’s fun and easy to come up with new ones so players will be inventing hundreds more!
Getting Involved
The Warhammer Skirmish booklet and merchandising display rack are both available May 20th. Look for many classic Citadel Miniatures in this range, including several Warhammer monsters and special scenery models ideal for Skirmish scenarios. You’ll also see things like castle walls, trees, and other items great for designing your own Skirmish tables.
Coverage continues throughout the summer in issues of White Dwarf magazine. Players will find additional scenarios, modeling and painting guides, battle reports and more in coming months.
