Invasion of Britain

Grenadiers

In the late 19th Century, there was a real fear that Britain was about to be invaded, firstly by the Prussians in 1871, after their spectacular defeat of the French in the Franco-Prussian War, and then in 1890s by the French and Russians as the arms race got under way. You have the latter period covered in our Little Britons range in 42m scale from our Shiny Toy Soldier range, so now we are giving you a range of British Home service figures in 30m scale to represent the home defence forces should the dreaded Prussians actually invade! You already have the Prussians and Bavarians (and French) in our Classic range.
