56 New WWII Figure Sets, Built From Customer Requests
A large part of our latest WWII release has come directly from conversations with customers. After we released our Russian firing figures, we received repeated requests to give more of our WWII forces the same treatment.
Customers wanted more variety within their units, particularly standing firing, kneeling and prone figures that could be combined with the advancing troops, command groups, and weapon teams already available.
Rather than producing a handful of isolated additions, we expanded the project into 56 new figure sets, covering British, Canadian, U.S. and German forces. The new figures include British infantry, British Commandos, Royal Marine Commandos, British paratroopers, Canadian infantry, U.S. infantry, U.S. Airborne, and several German formations.
These sets are designed to fill gaps within our existing collections. A section can now include troops firing from standing and kneeling positions, men taking cover, commanders directing the action, and soldiers advancing towards the enemy, rather than relying on the same few poses throughout an entire unit.

More Canadian Troops & More Useful Poses
More Canadian infantry was another direct customer request, particularly figures carrying Thompson submachineguns that could be used alongside the existing Canadian Battledress range.
We have therefore added four new Canadian sets, covering troops advancing, kneeling and standing firing, together with a new command group. These provide Canadian forces with additional close-combat figures, leaders and firing poses that can be mixed throughout a platoon.
The advancing figures are suited to troops moving through streets, woodland or broken terrain, while the kneeling and standing firing sets provide more options for units engaging the enemy. The command set completes the expansion with officers and NCOs directing the action.
These Canadian figures form part of the wider release and were created for the same reason as the new British, American and German additions: customers told us which poses and figures were missing from their collections, and we worked to fill those gaps.

A Complete British Commando Force in Cap Comforters
Customers also asked us to produce British Commandos wearing woolen cap comforters.
Rather than releasing one or two individual sets, we decided to build a complete collection containing the infantry, command figures, and support weapons needed to create a varied Commando force.
The new collection contains ten sets, covering advancing, kneeling, prone and standing firing Commandos, together with a command group, Bren gunners advancing and firing, mortar crews, PIAT teams, and Vickers machinegun teams.
The infantry poses can be mixed to create raiding parties, defensive positions, and assault groups, while the officers, signallers and wireless personnel provide the leadership and communications figures needed for larger formations. The Bren, mortar, PIAT and Vickers teams then add the heavier support required to complete the force.
The cap comforters give the figures a distinctive appearance, while still allowing them to be combined with our existing British Commando, Green Beret, and Royal Marine Commando collections.
All of the figures are available across our standard scales from 15mm to 54mm, including 20mm, 1:72, 25mm and 28mm. The figures can also be adjusted to another scale when required, and are supplied with supports attached as standard, with support removal available where offered.
