Chris Abbey of Sally 4th writes:

Yesterday, I finished painting these Planet of the Apes-style conversions.

Ape conversions

They use pieces from the Oathmark human cavalry and Frostgrave plastic kits, combined with metal ape heads.

Ape conversions

We had so much interest in the ape conversions that we did as part of our Shuttles & Spacers project that we are working on a complete ape-based release that will include male and female apes, soldiers and civilians, gorillas, chimps and Orangutans, armed with rifles as well as medieval and sci-fi weaponry.

Ape conversions

The project is still a work-in-progress. Lots more photos and details on website.
