Major Von Werder and His Ulans: Prussian War Heroes of the 1812 Campaign

Digby's translation of this memoir. It concerns the two Prussian cavalry regiments taken from X Corps and transferred into II Cavalry Corps (Montbrun) for the 1812 campaign. There they served throughout the campaign with the main body of troops, experiencing Smolensk, Borodino, the occupation of Moscow and the retreat.
