Five 28mm skirmish scenarios to pit the forces of evil against the forces of just trying to make it through the night.

The Krampus

Written for our flagship (free) rules, QILS. The scenarios include designer's notes to port to the system of your choice. But, really, give QILS a shot.

Includes:

  • five scenarios with multiple variants for lots of replay value
  • 2D terrain templates to support all the scenarios
  • 120 flat paper miniatures that cover all the forces in the scenarios
In the half-forgotten valleys north of the old trading road, there lies a village where winter comes early and lingers late. The people there speak softly once the first snows fall, for they know that the season belongs to more than frost and shadow. Their elders tell the young that names carry weight in the cold months, and that some things wake when spoken of too clearly. So they whisper only of "the Taker," and even then only with a prayer tucked behind their teeth.

Each year, when the long night stretches thin as a blade, footprints appear where no one walks. Doors are found ajar though barred the evening before. And sometimes a childŐs bed stands empty, its blankets drawn back as if by gentle hands. The villagers know better than to wail or chase the trail; the forest would swallow them whole for such boldness. Instead they set candles in their windows and hope the flame endures until dawn.
