SolCorps: Colonial War
Soul: the spiritual or immaterial part of a being.
Corpse: a dead body.
Transhumanism: the belief or theory that the human race can evolve beyond its current physical and mental limitations, especially by means of science and technology.

SolCorps: Colonial War is a gonzo homebrew tabletop wargame based on the SolCorps TTRPG that has been in "development" for over two decades.

It utilizes plastic construction bricks to make the models (and much of the art). The ruleset is comparable to similar games such as BattleTech and Adeptus Titanicus, but is intended to be more rules-lite than either of those.

This is the core manual, and will be a living rulebook for some months whilst we see what suggestions come back from those who purchase the book.

As well as the main ruleset, the core manual includes:

  • An army list for the faction ConTek.
  • An army list for the faction Yashuda.
  • Two challenging missions – Break on Through and Capture the Facilities.
  • A hex map to print and play those missions on.
  • A reference sheet.
  • Counters and Critical Effects cards for printing.

Any person who makes a contribution that comes from their playing, that we use, will be given credit as a playtester if they want it.

We have quite a few plans for future material for the game, including rules for making your own factions and units. Many of these will be released as Pay What You Want, only requiring this publication in order to use them.
