It took a couple of years, some rule adjustments and clarified text have all been made, but the real improvements are in the way of providing elements for "campaigns."

Price is still $30.00 USD for the print edition (plus postage), and $15.00 USD for the PDF, the latter delivered by email free.

In our haste to get this second edition printed and ready for sale, six mint copies of the First Edition are still on the shelf. As no changes of any kind have been made to the rule mechanics of play, TVAG offers these for only $10.00 USD each, plus the usual postage, until sold out. All free game accessories still apply and will be delivered as PDFs via email. To order a copy while they last, write to TVAG@att.net and order your copy. You gotta admit – it's the perfect way for the curious to see what this unique title is like for a minimum of investment.

To quote from the back cover:

We Only Kill Each Other (WOKEO) portrays criminals not as soldiers following orders as in traditional wargames, but as social misfits motivated more by fear than ideals, engaging in violence but very much wanting it to be against someone else. It also recognizes the criminal violence of Prohibition and the Depression as inseparable from their mostly urban environment.

With other "Cops & Robbers" wargames, there is a tendency to conflate Prohibition, the Depression, and mafia criminality, with the only common denominator being the "crime." Here, each of these subjects observes the distinctions that give them their unique identity.

Hood's Life

But adding to this background, this Second Edition adds "Hood's Life," rules for how criminals can spend their ill-gotten money when not actively engaged in vice and theft. Characters make Reputations, Friends and Foes, and can give "The Look" while "Living Large."

And now the rules include "Dillinger Days – Life On The Run," where players can create their own Depression-era gang of bank robbers and plan a crime wave while running all over the "Tri-State" region: Establish a Hideout, plan heists, acquire autos, commit the crimes, then flee across state highways and country roads,  With all the risks of the road, there is always the chance of becoming the object of "Hot Pursuit" by Law Enforcement, and either making a getaway or going down in a hail of bullets.

We Only Kill Each Other is the grittiest miniatures game of its kind.

And that last is still as straight as the sparks from the Chair.
