Blue Moon: ACW Release

I reckon I must be looking at different pictures to the rest of you. Looking at DWillians photo above the sight is massively overscaled to the barrel, and the brass bands holding the barrel to the stock are about the thickness of a finger.

I have been lucky enough to hold muskets & rifles of this period. They are not clunking great things with prominent accoutrements. They're actually quite slim and smooth. You can only see the brass bands because of the colour, not because they stick out like this.

The figure poses are pretty good, I grant you, but the weapons are very poor, even if we are seeing them blown up much bigger than the designer intended.
