We shall be closed for annual site maintenance, and also for paid staff holidays from now until the 23rd of March 2026. Our machinery and grounds must be in tip-top condition, as well as some special electrical upgrading which is already underway. As the wee team here has been working flat out since last year, it seemed only fair to give everyone a fortnight off. This covers the same time period, and in that time we will not be producing nor shipping orders. We shall not be responding to any email or social media posts or invitations. As normal, please make contact on sales@alternative-armies.com if you wish an update, and we will respond from the 23rd onwards. Some of us are staying local, and a few are jumping on planes to see some sun away from the Scottish winter.
One of the most looked forward to promotions of the year begins on the 26th of March 2026, and that is the Spring Mega Event (SME). Typically we begin the blanket applied-to-all-orders 20% discount off your entire cart about 48 hours before the announcement of the event. However, due to the staff holidays and site works, we have activated the discount now as no orders will be moving in the interim period. So any order placed online will automatically get 20% off on-screen before shipping is calculated. This lasts until the end of the event on 5th May 2026. We shall recommence shipping on the 23rd March, and the SME announcement will follow three days later. Please note: Reward Points and Loyalty System earn and spend points as normal, but you cannot use points for a percentage discount reward while the SME blanket 20% is in place.
