About Francis Dodd
Francis Edgar Dodd R.A. was a noted water colorist and portrait painter of the early-1900s who served on the Western Front. During his time working for the War Propaganda Bureau, he produced a number of portraits of eminent British military men. These were gathered into four volumes, two each of Generals of The British Army and Admirals of The British Navy.
