To celebrate our ninth book release in our On Bloody Ground series of wargame rules, we thought we'd run a little competition, both for a bit of lighthearted fun, and also as a way to say a big 'thank-you' to all the gamers worldwide that have bought the world's best mass-combat wargame (proof pending, of course!), or even some of our growing ranges of both 28mm and 10mm miniatures. As a small, family-run business, we can't thank you enough for all your support and encouragement.
And so, as a shameless way to hopefully increase gamers awareness of the products we produce, we're going to run a 'What period next?' competition.
It's free to enter (Although there's a tiny catch, as always! But all it is, is a 'Like' for our Facebook page, and you don't even have to do that if you email your answers to us!) and we have six prizes to give away.
Now the prizes aren't going to change your lives, but free stuff is always good to have!
So, our first prize is a £30.00 GBP voucher, then we have two second prizes of £20.00 GBP vouchers, and three third prizes of £10.00 GBP vouchers. All vouchers can be used on our website (surprise!) and are valid for up to six months, so you can buy now, or wait for new releases as they happen.
All correct entries will be entered into a random draw, using one of those clever random-draw thingies, and we'll show a recording of all six prizes being drawn in one go, using the aforementioned technology.
To enter the competition, all you need to do is 'Like' our Facebook page and comment on the pinned competition post with up to three free guesses as to what period you think our next rulebook release for On Bloody Ground will be.

Now, there are only four people on the planet that know what the new period is going to be so far (we've spent the last two weeks disposing of anyone else we might have mentioned it to!), and those four people aren't allowed to enter (for fear of terrible reprisals), so everything is fair and aboveboard.
The competition is open until midnight GMT on 31st May 2025, with the prize draw completed on Sunday, 1st June 2025.
All winners will be notified within 48 hours of the prize draw.
