Today's release is a 1:50 scale (28mm) U.S.M.C. amphibious Otter vehicle, which was used for forward resupply and also as a troop carrier.

On occasion, they were used in combat. For example, in 1968, in the Battle of Dai Do in the Dong Ha sector, when Captain Jay R. Vargas earned the Medal of Honor.

The vehicle comes in white resin with metal parts. The customer can model the Otter with hatches and hull doors open or closed.

This vehicle is damned cute, so every Marine unit should have one as a pet. Also remember, resupply keeps the soldiers in the field, so let's not forget those logistics scenarios. And if you are a VC player, then it makes a great target!

There is an assembly guide on our Empress Miniatures assembly FB page.

This vehicle, along with many others, is in our Vietnam room in the shop.
