von Strudel of The Virtual Armchair General writes:

From Studio 33 Productions comes this generic game playing aid. It may be used as a "Stand alone" accessory with any set of Role Playing or War Games rules, be they Wild West, Colonial, or even WW II. If fused (no dynamos!) planted/hurled dynamite sticks or charges (actual TNT or black powder), appear in a game scenario, the Dynamite Deck will add a new dimension of fun, suspense, and decision making in the simplest way possible.

Dynamite Deck

It is a deck of sixteen purpose designed cards printed in full color, front-to-back, on two heavy cardstock sheets, ready to be cut out for play. The Deck consists of a special mix of cards which indicate the progress of fuse's burn and the results to the charge - with possibilities of burning out, being a "Dud" - or going off in the faces of the untrained! By adding or subtracting cards from the mix, players can give advantages to Military/Mining engineers or others trained in using explosives in combat situations to blow bridges, railroad tracks, gates, etc. A sheet of instructions comes with the Deck to start you off immediately.

The Dynamite Deck adds a realistic - and exciting! - element of uncertainty to play:

  • At what game moment will a charge explode?
  • Will the fuse burn out short?
  • Will it explode sooner or later than you want?
  • Or will it just be a dangerous and unpredictable "Dud?"

The only way to know is get your Dynamite Deck and - DRAW!
