The Bengal Light Infantry were one of the elite fighting forces of the Raj. Serving throughout Queen Victoria's wars in India and Africa in the 1880s.

Taken from the pages of the Illustrated London News, these figures were masterfully sculpted by Paul Hicks.

The figures are in the uniform they wore to charge the pagoda fields in the Third Burma War in 1885. this uniform saw service throughout India's NE and NW Frontiers in the 1880s and into the 90s.

A fantastic addition to Pontoonier Miniatures' Colonial range. Complete with plenty of officers, NCOs, musicians and privates to bring life to your next skirmish or battle.
