DoubleTree Guest Room

Discounted room rates are now available for Huzzah!, the weekend of May 3-5th at the DoubleTree in South Portland.

The room reservation block for attendees of Huzzah! offers double occupancy, two beds, at $94 USD per night, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. You can stay right at the host venue, with all the convenience of having your room onsite.

Reservations can be made at the DoubleTree site.

If you wish to save a few dollars, perhaps to spend with the vendors, you can walk across the parking lots to a Days Inn, where the rooms are only $66 USD per night! One of our members took the time to walk over and check out the rooms, and they were quite nice. Not as convenient or well-appointed as the DoubleTree, but how many waking hours are really spent in the hotel rooms when at a convention? This would be a good option for those wishing to save a little money at minimal inconvenience.

Hope to see a great turnout for Huzzah! this year. It's our first in the new venue, which is larger and nicer than our old, yet still convenient to the airport and downtown Portland. We now have plenty of room for more games, more vendors, and more of you!
