We would like to welcome customers past and present to our stand (TJ16) at this year's show (16th April).
As usual, the lads from Southend Wargames Club are putting on a demo game for us on table GJ15 to support the introduction of our latest 10mm Napoleonic naval vessels and the updated edition of the Gunboat – Squadron Commander rules. The ships are a large frigate (up to 64 guns) and a 3rd rate ship-of-the-line of 74+ guns which we first previewed at Broadside last year, and the rules now allow for broadside fire. We shall have stock of the ship kits, crews and guns with us, whilst Caliver Books (on the stand next door) will have the rules.
Also on Caliver's stand will be our latest ruleset, Marlburian Commander, based on our highly successful Divisional Commander Napoleonic rules. Marlburian Commander, as the name suggests, is designed to regulate wargames set in the early 18th Century, embracing the different military systems adopted by the various nations who were involved. The game mechanics of Divisional Commander have been adapted and adjusted to fit the earlier period and the different philosophies, so players of DC will be able to follow Marlburian Commander easily.
In addition to these goodies, we shall be showing our forthcoming range of 28mm ACW figures in battle-worn uniforms, which will go on sale soon after the show. These will be rapidly followed by a set of skirmish rules, Comrades in Battle, and we are working on a version of Divisional Commander geared to the ACW period.
Finally, we shall have stocks of our 20mm WWII boxed sets and 15mm Spanish Army of the War of Independence (1808-1814) figures for sale. Sadly, we have insufficient space for more than this, but will be happy to take orders at the show.
We look forward to seeing you there and discussing current and future projects with you.
