The Army of Philip/Alexander the Great, 4th Century BC
This colorful supplement expands upon the Greek supplement, allowing you to deploy your Greco-Macedonian army in the East. Here you will find characters that did not yet exist in the 5th century:
- Officers, musicians
- Macedonian phalangites – elite and casual
- Macedonian hypaspists
- Macedonian skirmishers
- Greek peltasts with javelins
- Elite Greek Archers (Mercenaries)
- Elite Greek slingers (mercenaries)
- Macedonian sarissophoroi – elite and casual
- Greek cavalry with xystons
- Thracian allied/mercenary cavalry
The author wanted first of all to convey the spirit of the era and make excellent game soldiers. That's why they are a bit pompous, cinematic and stereotypical. And that's why they are made in a mirror style – both sides are equally informative and pleasant. Don't be too strict about the historicity of tabletop game reconstructions.
