Don Perrin of Legio X, Inc. writes:

Legio X, Inc. of Williams Bay, WI, has come to an agreement with Hal Thinglum to purchase MWAN Magazine. Hal has been producing MWAN for the better part of 23 years, and will end his tenure as editor/publisher in Issue 127 (January/Febuary 2004 - at the printers now).

Cover for upcoming MWAN issue 128

As of Issue 128, MWAN Magazine will be edited by Don Perrin. Advertising sales will be handled by HMGS veteran Mike Cosentino, and subscriptions management will be the realm of Kathryn Plamback.

Every one of us at Legio X, Inc. is excited to carry on Hal's hard work. It's amazing to think that he did such a great job by himself, winning two prestegious Charles S. Roberts Awards for Best Amateur Wargames Magazine. We hope to uphold the high standards to which Hal kept the magazine. The one major change we will implement is to take the magazine into a traditional digital prepress routine, so that content will be easier to read and photos will reproduce better.

Subscribers should feel safe in knowing that their subscriptions through Hal are to be honored. Future resubscriptions should come to Legio X, Inc., however. You can now purchase subscriptions online. We recognize that content is king, so we intend to keep the magazine meaty with articles and give a good solid read with every issue.
